A voice-first social app. Speak in Hindi, English or Hinglish. See it before it posts.
Hindi and English, fully. More languages in beta.
Hold, say one sentence, let go.
try saying — “my mind feels light today”
That is the whole interaction. Nothing was posted. This is a preview, and your browser’s own speech recognition did the transcribing — it never reached Echo.
Why this exists
Pick who it is for. Nothing here is saved or sent.
I watched my mother start a message, stop, and delete it. Not because she had nothing to say — because saying it meant fighting a keyboard built for a language that isn’t hers.
She had plenty to say. She said it out loud, to me, in the next breath.
That is the whole product.
You just spoke a sentence and watched it land. Here is the other way — the only way most people have ever been offered. Same thought, same phone, a keyboard in between.
Round 1 of 2 Post this thought.
my mind feels light today
Or hold one button and say it — which you already did, at the top of this page.
Most people never finish. Writing a full thought in Devanagari or Tamil on a phone is slow enough that the thought gets shortened, or it simply never gets posted.
Other apps translate the posts and leave the app in English. Built for someone else. You are only allowed to use it.
And you quietly decide you are someone who reads, not someone who writes.
You know what you want to say. Then there is a keyboard, a search box, a reminder to set — and you drop it. Say post this, find that thread, remind me tomorrow. Done before you look up.
Ask and it only talks. Do and it acts. Anything that writes, posts or spends stops for your confirmation first.
Tap one. This is the card Echo shows you first.
Speak in Hindi, English or Hinglish.
Not just the words — what you wanted done with them.
Posted, found, opened, scheduled. Answered back out loud if you want.
It is twenty to midnight. You open Echo, read twelve things, reach the bottom, and put the phone down.
It greets you by name, in your language, and then it ends. You reach the bottom and you put the phone down. Nobody designed this to keep you here.
Your neighbour answered today’s in Punjabi. Someone in Kochi answered it in Malayalam. You read both — after you had answered your own.
Answer it and you unlock everyone else’s. Strangers, in their own languages, on the one thing you were all asked today. Then it closes until tomorrow.
You are walking back from the shop when you remember your mother’s tablets. You say it out loud. The reminder is set before you reach the gate.
Writing the caption, finding the message, setting the reminder. Say it once and it is handled — and you see every action before it happens.
Nothing to say today. You log the ₹180 that went on vegetables, tick two habits, and close it.
Tasks, habits, notes, focus timers, money. Twelve, right there in the tab, so the app still earns its place on days you have nothing to say.
Infinite scroll is not a feature they chose. It is the business model. That is why none of them can copy this.
What you use now
Keep scrolling. It will not stop.
Echo
Keep scrolling. You will reach the bottom.
Then the daily question. One a day, the same for everyone, and you answer before you can read anyone else. No network paid by attention will ever ship that.
A feed that ends. No infinite scroll.
Echo
Welcome back, Akash
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
The quietest thoughts are usually the honest ones.
You changed this page at the top. That was the easy half — a website is words. Here is the app doing it.
Not just the posts — the whole app. Greeting, tabs, buttons, prompts, even the direction it runs. Switch it and everything moves. Not an English app that translates. An app that speaks your language.
